BOA has been involved in the preparation of Good Manufacturing Practice Guidelines (GMPs) for trade associations and professional organisations in Europe and were one of the first consultancies in the United Kingdom and Europe to apply the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point assessments (HACCP) to food production processes.
- NUTRITION
The company advises on all aspects of nutrition, particularly in relation to the development of dietetic foods (sports foods, weight control products and foods for special medicinal purposes), functional foods and dietary supplements.
- MEDICINES REGISTRATION / LICENSING
BOA can advise clients on the requirements for the licensing of nutritional products and herbal medicines within Europe and prepare applications on behalf of clients.
